Belgian Jigsaw Camo Smock
These smocks have seen a great deal in their times, most have large repairs, rough edges, faded and worn areas + that good old timey surplus smell to boot. These old boys have character - Belgian Army M58 Smocks (from 1958-1968) in jigsaw camouflage. Most of these jackets are dated 1958 on the tag, with a couple of exceptions dating 1963 & 1968. Belgian jigsaw pattern camouflage had just been introduced for Belgian elite forces a couple of years before the earliest of these jackets! These smocks are made from a hefty windproof canvas type material, with paratrooper's ''beaver tails'' that were used to stop the overcoat moving when doing paratrooper business (such as parachuting).
