Benin Army Lizard Camo Rucksack
Benin has had no shortage of internal & external conflict from varying political forces over the last century. The country also has a strong French connection - Benin came under administrative control by France up until the 1950s. It should be no surprise that some French camo influence has kept up with Benin's military equipment. These rucksacks covered in a French like 'lizard camo' have come brand new from our supplier in France. It would seem France is still supplying much gear to former French controlled Africa. The quick and the dirty - these rucksacks seem to follow the rough format of what was going around in the 50/60s (think something like British 58 pattern). They sit quite high on your back designed to be worn above webbing, making them fairly uncomfortable to wear.
