East German Trouser Suspenders
Achtung! Likely issued from the 1970's to the 1990's in East Germany during the days of the Berlin Wall, these suspenders will help you look Extra Stark (see the branded adjustment clip, last picture) ...or at least not verboten!These original Y shape braces are made from woven elastic (pearl to the back side, that lovely somewhere-between-olive-and-grey (steingrau) to the front) with metal adjustment clips and rings. The elastic still has a nice springy nature to them but does show some folding warping from storage, when not taught. Also part of the construction is some pretty nice inoffensive, thick brown leather strapping that fixes to your trou of choice by looping around, inserting the metal loop, and rotating. Lets not forget the cute grey button to top it all off.
