Stitched Latigo Split Reins

This set of split reins are my personal favorite to ride a horse with. If you prefer to have your reins stay a consistent thickness throughout the length without added weight on the ends, select the "non weighted" option. If you prefer a heavier feel, select "weighted ends." There’s nothing quite like the feel of heavy tight-fibered leather reins, the length and weight at the end of them, and the well oiled quality. These reins are hand rubbed with saddle soap, then Neatsfoot oil, then saddle soap again. With proper care, these reins get even better with age.  Why add weight to the ends? You have the option for the ends of your reins to be "weighted." This means that the last 16 inches of the rein has an extra layer of leather sewn in to keep the ends down low. We stitch the layers tight to keep them performing as one.  Common Specs: Weights: Non W
