Benzoin Styrax,Tonkinese, Absolute

Benzoin Styrax (Tonkinese) is a soft, sweet calming vanilla-like scent that blends well with other essential oils as a low note. It extends the vanilla scent without overwhelming a blend. The aroma is used in sensual blends. Benzoin combines well with any essential oil. I like to add it to Oriental and many other aromas such as, Patchouli, Tarragon, Vetiver and Labdanum. It blends with florals and herbals in small quantities as a base, or low note in aromatherapy. Always add it first in a blend to hold a lasting aroma blend.
