DEADLY NIGHTSHADE - EYESHADOW "Victorian Oddities" is a mini collection this year for spooky season! It is Limited Edition. This very sparkly purple is DEADLY NIGHTSHADE, a poisonous plant which I've visited before in the Fatalis collection (Atropa belladonna). The use of Belladonna eyedrops was common in the Victorian era, to dilate the pupils and create a doe-eyed look. This practice could potentially cause blindness or distorted vision, however! Learn more about it here. APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is helpful to intensify shifts and highlights for a more impactful look.
