Evening Primrose - EYESHADOW Color Description: A mauvey brown with strong gold shift. Evening Primrose blooms in the evening and closes early in the day, but is at it's most lovely translucent with dew just as the sun rises. Older blossoms will develop a mauvish coloration as the soft yellow blossoms fade, which is how this shade was inspired. About the Collection: From the "Appalachian Wonder" collection (2022), a growing catalog of shades and products inspired by my daily life in the Southeastern Appalachians of Upstate SC. All flora & fauna photographs taken by me, unless otherwise specified. APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos.
