MOUNTAIN LAUREL - EYESHADOW Color Description: A soft pinkish-buff base with strong purple shift. Mountain Laurel can be found in the depths of southeastern Appalachian "hollers", next to rambling streams, ferns and mosses. All parts of the shrub are poisonous, to humans and animals. About the Collection: From the "Appalachian Wonder" collection (Spring 2022), a growing catalog of shades and products inspired by my daily life in the Southeastern Appalachians of Upstate SC. All flora & fauna photographs taken by me, unless otherwise specified. APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos.
