VAKARINE - EYESHADOW Color Description: Soft taupe with violet shimmer About the Collection: "Duskfall Venus" is a permanent collection released in Summer 2025. The delicate shimmering shade range features soft neutralish/pastel bases with soft color interference overlays. Inspired by the beautiful painting "Evening Star over the Sea" by Evelyn DeMorgan. The Evening star refers to the planet Venus, and the shades in this collection are named after different mythological names for Venus.Main swatches are shown photographed under a daylight balanced light, the shades appear more sparkly and color overlays more intense in sunlight. The shade Hesperia in particular showed almost no blue interference overlay, but it's very strong in other light sources, particularly outdoors. APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos.
