Vervain - EYESHADOW Color Description: Chestnut brown with strong violet shift. This shade is named after a type of Vervain which originated in Brazil, but has spread into parts of North America. It's considered invasive, but attracts a lot of pollinators and is a strong nectar source for certain types of butterflies. It also has a myriad of herbal uses. About the Collection: From the "Appalachian Wonder" collection (2022), a growing catalog of shades and products inspired by my daily life in the Southeastern Appalachians of Upstate SC. All flora & fauna photographs taken by me, unless otherwise specified. APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos. If you wear them without base, you won't see as strong of a color shift.
