WATER OF LIFE - premium eyeshadow

The Sumerian poem, Inanna's Descent follows the journey of Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth, through the Seven Gates of Hell and into the Underworld, to visit her recently-widowed sister, Erishkigal. To do so, Inanna has to give up everything as she passes through each of the seven gates of Hell, arriving in the Underworld naked and completely vulnerable- stripped of her status and all worldly belongings. Inanna endures death at her sister's hand, but eventually triumphs over death to retake her earthly position, a changed woman. Her story is rich with symbolism that every woman can relate to in their own life's journey.
