Whippoorwill - EYESHADOW Color Description: A muted deep purple base with a strong blue iridescence. The Whippoorwill is in the nightjar family, a nocturnal bird with a unique call that sometimes echoes throughout the night forest. About the Collection: From the "Appalachian Wonder" collection (2022), a growing catalog of shades and products inspired by my daily life in the Southeastern Appalachians of Upstate SC. All flora & fauna photographs taken by me, unless otherwise specified. APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos.
