WILD BLUE PHLOX - EYESHADOW

Wild Blue Phlox - EYESHADOW Color Description: A medium blue with strong gold shift, can appear more teal or green depending on lighting. Wild Blue Phlox blossoms in the spring, along the fertile creek beds, in the Appalachian forest.  The five-petalled tubular flowers are attractive to butterflies, clearwing moths, and hummingbirds.  About the Collection: From the "Appalachian Wonder" collection (2022), a growing catalog of shades and products inspired by my daily life in the Southeastern Appalachians of Upstate SC. All flora & fauna photographs taken by me, unless otherwise specified. APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos.
