The donut-shaped bezel with decorative scroll work is set with a gorgeous hand-cut section of natural abalone shell featuring an iridescent golden background splashed with shimmering pinks & purples and electric blues & greens. The open back displays the abalone's underneath layers of rippling golden waves with rainbow iridescence ("orient").  The round pendant is approximately 2 inches diameter. The overall length of the pendant with bail is approximately 2.5 inches. The pendant is on an Italian-made 17" length 1.5mm diameter popcorn chain with lobster clasp and 3-inch length cable link extender chain. The teardrop-shaped open bail with decorative scrollwork will accommodate a wider/thicker chain or cord. All metal is solid 925 sterling silver plated with rhodium for tarnish resistance.
