70, OMV’s Offroad Gullwing Skateboard Trucks

Here’s a little story, years ago, Vector Eckhart (Old Man Vector) talked about his offroad skateboard set up. Him and I had a lot in common with the old day of Gullwing Skateboard Truck Co from the 70’s, to when S9 took over. Victor mentioned that he wish they hadn’t trashed a bunch 80’s black plastic base plates. Since they would be redoing some of the wide hanger’s in the late 2000’s and he wish to do a few modified trucks for offroad skateboards for him and some friends. Around a year or so after Victor passed away. I found a small bulk set of 2000’s Shadow 180mm hanger’s that fit his wishes. I had mentioned to him years back. That a good old friend had gotten some of the black plastic base plates and I had been lucky enough.  To have the last of the last of the Street Shadow black plastic 80’s base plates, king pins and bushing.
