Whale Test Print #4

This one of a kind, glow-in-the-dark test print has layers from In the Belly of a Whale, as well as halftone printing tests that we conducted throughout the winter months of 2026. WHAT IS A TEST PRINT?Screen prints are made by printing one layer of ink at a time, with each layer forming part of the entire image. In our studio, we keep a stack of test prints. We print on these at the beginning of each print run to initially get the ink moving through the screen and make sure everything looks ok. Over time, the ink layers build up on each test print, creating unique, one of a kind screen prints. ARTWORK DETAILS:- Multi layer screen print pulled by hand - Measures 18x24" (standard frame size) - Signed by the artists and numbered 1 of 1 18x 24" FRAME DETAILS:- Dark walnut, real wood frame measures 3/4" wide- Includes shatter resistant styrene pane- Comes ready to hang with wire hanger installed - Made locally in Michigan
