We can't stop here, Mickey... this is Bat country. H-hyuck! This concept art was created digitally over the sketch to test the layout and colors. The idea was to make a spin off of Ralph Steadman's poster for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with my favorite Disney character, Goofy! Since then, I have created many other versions of Gonzo Goofy. This one is in Ralph Steadman's original poster color palette. The painting that spawned from this piece was done in vibrant fluorescence of green, pink, and purple- a gift to my dear friend's first-born child, Polaris. While I will never make prints of the original painting in all of its glory, you may own your own copy of the concept art!
