See the turtle of enormous girth... Patterns, patterns, patterns. Sea turtles are just about the coolest animals around. One of the best animals to illustrate patterns of life. I once read of an ancient myth that the earth was formed on the back of a turtle traveling through the cosmos. This myth gave me the idea for for this piece. I combined African and Australian tribal patterns for the background to help accentuate the origin mythology. My originals are hand drawn graphite on smooth Bristol paper and come framed in a frame that I buy from Michael’s with a 40% off coupon.
