Haven

Haven is an original artwork from my Continuum series, a collection that explores extension, softness, and the quiet beauty of pushing beyond boundaries. Created entirely on 100 percent cotton watercolor paper using watercolor paints, this piece is layered with soft earthy tones that evoke stillness, grounding, and calm. Gentle transitions of color mimic distant landscapes and open skies, inviting a sense of peace and reflection. The stitching moves through the composition and continues beyond the painted surface onto the mat, extending the visual rhythm outside the paper. This intentional continuation of thread is a defining element of the series, symbolizing expansion, connection, and movement beyond limits. Subtle texture, delicate tonal shifts, and stitched detail create dimension that quietly shifts as light changes throughout the day.
