Phase IV, Circa 450 to 550 A.D. A natural pink-buff pottery jaguar formed musical instrument from the ancient new world.  This ingenious trumpet has a large loop form, tapered stem terminating with an open mouthed toothy jaguar head at front.  Head painted with cream color slip and a double band on the neck. Scattered mineral deposits and root marks on the surface. Size: 12-5/8 inches Length + custom mount.
