Circa 17th century AD Bhairava is the angry emanation of the Hindu God Siva, with a ferocious face  with  open mouth and fangs bared, below bulging eyes and flaming brows, all below a tiara decorated with skulls, the hair behind standing on end in rich, curled locks. Height 9 inches + plexi mount.
