The Mighty Tieton River

I took to the winding path and found a perfect spot to paint while my daughter Lisa was working as guide on this tumultuous river, the Tieton  I wanted to capture the feel of the fast moving waters, better work quickly to chase the light, but that's always the case when you paint on location. Later I learned this river, located in Washinton state, is open to rafting only three weeks out of the year. Offered on Arches.
