Clair D'Loon, Joy Sculptor Original Conceptual Sketch

Scooter was chosen to create characters for the card game called Magic: The Gathering in his unique style of mid-century modern meets sci-fi. Every piece of art Scooter creates starts with a conceptual sketch and this is the original conceptual sketch he drew for "Clair D'Loon, Joy Sculptor”. This popular card game is produced by Wizards of the Coast. This sketch is one-of-a-kind and really demonstrates the thought process behind the finished work. While Sccoter was working for Walt Disney Feature Animation he drew on animation paper with a red pencil. He fell in love with how the pencil feels on animation paper so it’s still part of his process to this day. This original sketch is drawn on 16" x 13" animation paper and does not come matted. It will ship rolled in a tube.
