Canaria Wood Works Dinner Spoon Sakura
Description Canaria Wood Works use wood curving technique. Usually it is considered easier to let wood dry before making any kind of shape, but as you expect, it takes long as long as 2 years to dry out the wood. So, people find a way to make woodenware without drying process. Since wood wants to dry out, it is easier to bend, change forms and even crack on the process of curving, so it is really hard doing the wood curving. His pieces show annual tree rings and decay of the woods, feel like the nature coming along with human hands. Personally I like the pieces that has decay inside the tree, though clean smooth pieces look great too.
