Canaria Wood Works uses wood curving technique. Usually, it is considered easier to let wood dry before making any kind of shape, but as you expect, it takes a long time - as long as 2 years to dry out the wood. So, people find a way to make woodenware without the drying process. Since wood wants to dry out, it easily bends, changes forms and even cracks in the curving process, so it is really hard doing the wood curving. His pieces show annual tree rings and decay of the woods, feel like the nature coming along with human hands. Personally, I like the pieces that have decay inside the tree, though clean smooth pieces look great too. This spatula is made for left-handed users. Size : 12 in x 2.2 inWeight : 1 ozMaterial : CherryMicrowave : NODirect Fire : NOIH : NOOven : NODish Washer : NOSizes and weights are approximate.*They are handmade one of a kind piece, and each item has slightly different shape, size, and glaze.
