Scissors, Glue and YOU!
For years, I searched for a book with bold, engaging illustrations that would teach children how to use their scissors and glue properly. When I couldn't find one, I wrote one! Meet Scissors, Glue, and YOU! — my new rhyming book that helps young artists start creating with confidence and ease. When I wrote Scissors, Glue and YOU!, I focused on what I wanted my young artists to know about using scissors: how to wear them safely, cut slowly, hold the paper steady with their other hand, and avoid wasting paper. When it came to glue, I wanted to teach kids how to open and close the bottle, how much glue to use, what to do if the bottle is clogged and more. I knew that was a lot to pack into one book, especially if I wanted to make it engaging for young learners.
