La Colomba    Our Giulietta Collection, light, beautiful and romantic is the result of truly extraordinary artistry. The design is applied to the ceramic by hand, fired and then hand painted with a sponge before being fired a second time. Little wonder it is so fair! Offered in both blue and gray. Hand made in Tuscany.   The dove is a celebrated symbol of peace and love in Italy and a popular dove shaped  bread named "la colomba" is often found on the Easter table. Our Giulietta Dove celebrates this wonderful tradition. Offered in two sizes; large and small.    Dimensions: 7 inches long x 4.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall   Care: As a hand painted ceramic piece, special care is recommended. Dishwasher safe on a low heat setting but hand washing is preferred to insure a long life. Do not allow to sit in water. Microwavable but may get hot to the touch.
