Fornada Cabinet
Fornada is a cabinet conceived as a piece of memory and affection. Inspired by the traditional way of baking empadas, a typical dish from the city of Goiás, the piece captures the artisanal gestures of cooks and ceramicists, transforming them into a language of design. The wooden structure provides solidity and presence, while the ceramic elements—produced in partnership with local artisans—appear as textures and reliefs, evoking freshly baked trays and also functioning as handles. Between utility and expression, it is both a piece of furniture and a sculpture: a daily altar dedicated to the culinary and artisanal culture of the cerrado.
