Description This large beautiful Burnished Clay Churumbela vase is the crown jewel of every collection, it is simply stunning, created by Mexican Master Ceramic Artist Luis Cortez. The attention to detail, the steady hand given while painting such an intricate design is something to admire. Cortez is truly a Master Ceramic Artist. Cortez’s art is always in contact and keeping with traditional techniques used in Burnished Clay pieces, however, he sets himself apart by introducing new color palettes, such as bright greens and blues, not commonly used with the burnished clay technique, which traditionally sticks to earthy tones instead. This vase can be sat on all of its three feet, or set standing on two of them for the beautiful work to be appreciated from afar. Handmade and hand painted in Mexico by Luis Cortez.
