Tibetan Turquoise Earring

A large brass earring with an oval piece of deep blue turquoise with black matrix set on the front and an old red glass bead set in the end. A corner of the turquoise is missing and was probably reset with black pitch which is still visible. This was collected in the early 50's by a couple who traveled through the area and collected ethnic jewelry during their travels. L: 2 ⅞" c.  First half 20th C #7530
