This is a large Tohono O'odham basketry plate with a typical geometric design. It has a wide dark center and has a whipstitched rim with diagonal dark stitches. There is a ¾" section of the rim that the dark strands are missing. Other than that, the basket is in very good condition. D. 16 ¾" H.3 ¼" c.1950 #8570
