This timeless piece is named after an American military operation during the Vietnam War, called Hastings. This Console Table makes a great addition to any home. This piece can be utilized as an end table, night stand or coffee table. Furniture legs can also be removed for placement on a flat surface. Displaying the crate open allows the wine, books and/or collectables to be exhibited. All of the latches are in working order and can be additionally fortified.  ERA: 1955-1975 CONFLICT: Vietnam War COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA SPECS: The ammunition crate housed 2 cartridges of 105mm shells with a Point Detonating M-557 fuze that was used with the Howitzer Cannon, M2A1, M2A2 & M40. The crate weighed approx. 111 lbs. during its service period.
