This cigar ashtray has been repurposed from a genuine WWII crate. The crate was originally used to house .50 caliber bullets. An indentation has been added for 1 cigar along with a removable ashtray. Let us know if you want a brass  or stainless steel ashtray. ERA:1941-1945 CONFLICT: WWII COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA SPECS:  The T1IDR ammunition crates housed 120 cartridges, .50 caliber, armor piercing incendiary M8. with 10 rounds per carton, 6 cartons per can with a total of 2    cans. The crates weight was approx. 42 lbs. during its service period.
