Hawaiian Sea Turtle Backsplash Insert - Marble and Ceramic

Made-to-Order (Allow 3 to 4 weeks) Inspired from my family's visits to the Hawaiian islands of Oahu, Maui, and Kauai.  While there are many aspects of the incredible beauty of God's creation to be seen in the Hawaiian Islands, one that my family and I appreciate a bit more is the beautiful sea turtles.  Every time we were at a beach and a sea turtle swam by, almost everyone tried to get a glimpse of her.   This is my first design in what will, in time, be a full collection of Hawaiian Sea Turtle backsplashes and tile floor medallions.  This design is made from ceramic tile, which surrounds the actual turtle.  The turtle itself is made from hand cut marble tesserae making up the shell of the turtle, with Italian glass accents.  The head, tail, and feet are made from ceramic tile in a mosaic pattern.  The ceramic tile of the turtle will come pre grouted.  The turtle itself will be attached to a Hardie backer board and will therefore be raised (or thicker) in comparison to the surrounding
