SAKURA • aura layer

Light and breezy, layer this year around. This particular design includes a fibonacci focused warp, clasped weft shoulder, and dramatic side slits, making it feel like a true statement piece.  Woven slowly with care, this handwoven Aura Layer is a tactile offering — soft enough for the body, strong enough for life. Part of the THREAD Collection, each textile is handwoven and sewn in small batches using natural, quality fibers. Rooted in sustainability and designed to last. Inspired by my time in Japan, and arriving at the tail end of sakura(cherry blossom) season. I was invited to enjoy the festivities in Niigata, and followed them all the way back to Tokyo, where I lived for the rest of the year. This piece holds both time and memory in its weave.
