Scales and charms add 1/2 to 1 inch in length, depending on your choice. The lantern itself is made of a mix of aluminum and stainless steel jump rings, and will be sent hanging from an 18" waxed cord necklace. The aluminum rings are coiled and cut by me. I am adding to my inventory, so I will have more bead/stone options as well as charm/scale choices in the near future.
