Flower and Pearl Necklace

The rose gold colored (faux) pearls on this necklace are on monofilament, so they appear to be floating when the necklace is on, making for a really eye-catching and elegant piece. The flower is hand made from polymer clay and is about an inch in diameter. The necklace length is about 24 inches when fully stretched out, but the nature of the string and light weight will usually make it a little shorter than that. There is a rose gold colored chain on the end that is 2 and a half inches long, and makes the necklace adjustable to about 21 and 1/2 inches.I will confess that I'm not thrilled at the way the flower came out. This was one of my first polymer clay pieces, and to a trained eye, it shows. This could be a really great costume piece, however.
