Very fresh, pleasant, citrusy scent. Our blend contains oils that are reputed to repel mosquitoes, black flies, no-see-ums, fleas and even ticks, but we do not guarantee its effectiveness against these pests or any disease-carrying ticks or mosquitoes. Customer feedback over many years, however, reports success with this product when used as instructed. The ingredients are considered safe for most young children and healthy dogs, but your child or dog may have sensitive skin or may not tolerate the scent. Always test for sensitivity before use. Essential oils may be toxic to cats, so please do not spray product on or near them. Not recommended to spray directly onto or within inhaling distance of very young children or anyone with respiratory issues.....instead, shake well, spray downwind onto hands, then apply to skin.
