Low Fire Stoneware Casting Slip Cone 06-04

Low Fire Stoneware Casting slip is now sold mixed and ready to use in 1 gallon and 1/2 gallon quantities This clay should be glaze fired to cone 06 but no hotter than cone 04 We recommend bisque firing this clay to cone 010 but can be fired as high as cone 06  You can also skip bisque firing and do a single fire glazing once drying passes leather hard Great for drying quickly with minimal cracking  Fires tan Averages 50 minutes pour times to reach a desired thickness of 1/8" Drains easily out of small pour spouts where other slips may clog and not drain Average shrinkage rate 6.5%
