Mission Street begins at the Ferry Building in San Francisco California and is one of the oldest roads in the San Francisco Bay Area.    It passes near Mission Dolores and Church Street in Noe Valley and continues on into Daly City where it becomes a road named "El Camino Real" named after the long Road up and down California that connected all 21 California Missions. This road is the old state highway 82.   In Milbrae the road just happens to pass by a BART Station, a Chipotle at Friendship Plaza, and across the street is a hotel named Dylan. (In an unrealted coincidence and quirk of city planning the indidivual Dylan who runs this website worked for a few years at a different Chipotle.  And yes it was a little odd to see a hotel that shares my name and then go eat lunch at a Chipotle across the street.)   In Palo Alto the road passes near Stanford University and in Sunnyvale all you have to do is take a turn on Wolfe to get to the headquarters of Apple.     El Camino Real ends at Santa Clara University which is also the home of the Santa Clara Mission founded in 1777.   Photographer: Dylan Carpowich
