Beat the Odds®: Youth Leadership Model Online Training - Spring 2025

date: Friday, March 28, 2025 time: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Pacific Time (PT) instructor: Ping Ho, MA, MPH description: In this groundbreaking adaptation of our Beat the Odds® program, learn how to train youth leaders to work in teams to deliver a simplified set of our trauma-informed, group drumming activities to their younger peers or others.  This training is ideal for school counselors, arts educators, or anyone working with youth. And no musical experience is necessary.  Witness the transformative changes—from creative risk taking to collaborative problem solving—when youth are given the chance to develop leadership, agency, and self-esteem. This training will mirror the actual teamwork delivery process that is facilitated with youth. All registrants that complete the Beat the Odds®: Youth Leadership Model Training will receive a Certificate of Completion that reflects one day of specialized training.
