This mask has features of Dogon and Senufo. The facial features are similar to other masks from Mali - made by the Doogon people. Horn-bill on top is a Senufo feature. In some areas of Mali Dogon and Senufo may live not too far from each other This mask came back to us after 15 years in a private collection. Visit a very similar mask at our museum site.
