Under Cotton Clouds

I drove from Savannah to Atlanta one time through cotton fields and farmlands. It was the first time I saw real cotton fields, and there was something about the puffy white flowers and the puffy white clouds mimicking them above, floating in the bright blue skies that just seemed so happy and peaceful. I tried to capture that feeling here. 20x16 oil on gallery wrapped canvas.
