The filmmakers welcomed AC to visit the production while it was shooting in Budapest, Hungary, where they pulled back the curtain on the technological innovations at play behind the scenes. Ad Astra(20th Century Fox) Hoyte van Hoytema, ASC, FSF, NSC and director James Gray take viewers to the stars in this science-fiction mystery. Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) is sent on a mission into deep space in an attempt to make contact with his father (Tommy Lee Jones), who was long believed to be dead.
