The Story Chinese New Year is the festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional solar Chinese calendar.  According to the Chinese lunar calendar, every year corresponds to one of twelve animals (Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig). The 2025 new year celebration is January 29th, celebrating year of the Snake. The jade used in these bracelets is considered the highest quality, natural and undyed. We carved each cabochon from a single bracelet and hand set it in 14K gold. Each bracelet is custom hand-made to order in 2-3 weeks.
