Rose Gold and Platinum Diamond Star Locket

The Story One of the most unique rectangular lockets we've seen, this Edwardian (circa 1910), locket beautifully alternates rose gold and platinum "tiles" featuring delicately engraved scallop and floral patterns. During this time, advances in metal fabrication created a surge in platinum use in jewelry. Because of the strength of platinum, it allowed jewelers to create more intricate, detailed pieces. We love how the tile pattern frames a vibrant 0.14 Old Mine Cut diamond, winking from its hand-carved starburst. On the back, "CL" is lovingly engraved.
