Tanzanian, Mandarin Garnet 2.40 cts

Hey Loungers,  Some of you might have heard of the recent, yet fairly ephemeral, mandarin garnet (spessartite) deposit of Loliondo in Tanzania. This gem is a prime example of the richness of the color of this occurrence given by the syrup like, almost velvety, texture of the crystal.  We hope her next owner will enjoy staring at it as much as we do for it is possibly one of the sweetest gems around!
