Ray Benson: Swingin' and Skankin' Vinyl

Format: 12" Vinyl Record Ray Benson and Doctor Dread introduce "Swingin' and Skankin'", Ray Benson's brand-new reggae album! Recorded with the likes of legendary Jamaican musicians including drummer Sly Dunbar, guitarist Dwight Pinkney, and keyboardist/arranger Robbie Lyn, as well as former AATW bassist Tony Garnier, the goal was to see what happens when two-step meets the one drop. The results include a couple of foundational pre-Reggae Jamaican tunes, two AATW rave-ups, and classic songs associated with Bob Marley, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Bob Wills, and Roy Rogers. Special musical guests include Willie Nelson, guitarists Warren Haynes and Stanley Jordan, along with original AATW steel guitarist Lucky Oceans and fiddler Katie Shore.
