Marbella GD Oriental Rug

A medieval silk brocade with Saffavid and Andalusian influences inspired this tone-on-tone flaxen, gold, pewter, pearl ground and bronze, gold tonal border. This hand made cut and loop pile rug was made by combining a loop weave invented by Asmara with the ancient French Savonnerie pile weave. Woven with a complex yarn made up several yarns of different shades, this rug has a unique texture and shading variations reminiscent of rare antique rugs. Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA. Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Unlike most other rug makers, Asmara never uses chemical washes. Use with a pad.
