Based on an original painting by Elizabeth Moisan inspired by a Park Avenue interior designed by McMillen Inc. Mint, emerald, yellow, blue, aqua, lilac, orange and brick tones combine on an ivory ground in this charming Bessarabian pattern. Combining ancient Savonnerie dyeing and weaving methods with a loop weave invented by Asmara, this cut and loop pile rug has subtle shade and texture variations reminiscent of the best antique rugs. Also available in needlepoint as shown at right. Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA. Handmade with green manufacturing methods.
